Multiple Large Motors & Multiple Breaker Panels On The Property
In some cases, when you are assessing a customers property for you to determine what it needs to lessen
. There are things like high kilowatt usage, that you may experience an instance where the property has a multiple breakers and motors.
A point blank, where it is always better to install an Electric Saver directly on the motor instead of on the panel. I know, I already been asking this over and over again but "If you want you want to correct all the loads in the home isn't it better to install at the main panel in the home instead of just one motor?" Ah.. yes in the theory, but in actual its a NO..
So here is why, because if you only install the electric saver on the main panel you are only correcting the lose power of all the motors in your home from the main power panel to power meter, that might work great. that if your power meter is 7th floors down the meter room great example would be a condo or an apartment. But in some cases in residential and in commercial , most of the time your power meter is on the other side of the wall just a few feet away.
So if you install an Electric Saver on the largest motors on that property, you are connecting the loss or the waste power all the way to the motor through the main panel to the power meter. That's more captured waste and power save.
But I prefer the bigger savings if you ask me, I am sure you do too.
Here are seven (7) simple steps for you to get trough in this situation easily.
1. Whit C/A, Pool Pumps, Heat Pumps, Jacuzzi Motor sand A/C Chillers you have to determine what motor on the property that pulls a lot of amperage and impacts to their power bills.
2. Find out where the Power meter is located, the distance in relation to each large motor that you have found on the customers property.
3. Check out the motors or which motors get high impact to the power bill the most.
4. Measure how many amps are pulling in each motors in step 3.
5. Determine how many Electric Saver you need to install in the property.
This time, you have to think more about your customers, put your self in their shoes. And then determine what is best for your customer. What will help him or her the most? Do you think putting 7 Electric Saver in their home or small business would profit them? probably not. It wont be worth your customers investment vs. the time it takes for them to see a return on their savings.
So focus on the motors that impact the bill the most and are furthest to the power meter. This way installing 2 or 3 Power Saver on 2 or 3 large A/C motors that perform the other side of the home will be better than all 3 large A/C motors, a Jacuzzi etc.
But you have to keep in mind that no two property is alike so this step is a simple KEY in closing a DEAL. That is if you truly care about helping your patrons your sales will be more easier and it will take a long term.
6. Talk to your customers about what you think or what you feel would be most effective option for them for this job.
7. After agreeing on what to do, Order and Install the correct size unit for the motors above per manufacturers instructions.
