Muscle Fatigue Symptoms tips
What is muscle fatigue? It is a feeling of exhaustion, lethargy, listlessness and languor in the muscles of your body owing to excess physical strain. This kind of fatigue disrupts day-to-day activities as it obstructs the muscle movement. In case of physical fatigue, the body responds by extreme tiredness and if it's mental fatigue, then the body reacts in the form of sleepiness. Causes may range from exercise to genetic reasons. Though it might seem like an ordinary condition to cure, at times even doctors cannot find the cure for it and this makes it rather dangerous to the patient. When there is a physical exertion, the muscles go into a temporary state of lack of energy and the body requires rest to recover. In absence of proper rest, this can also lead to weakening of muscles. And this becomes a cause of concern because it disrupts the calcium of the body and can lead to serious complications such as heart problems etc. To know about the symptoms of muscle fatigue, read further. Possible Treatments
Exercise and relaxation is a good way to start. Try swimming as this is neither too strenuous nor you become too lazy. If you can't swim (due to your own reasons!) then atleast walk around the house for about 5 minutes. Don't get stuck up at home.
Making some changes in diet might help you feel better. Add things like flax seed oil, magnesium and supplements of vitamins and minerals in your diet and limit consumption of fatty food.
Yoga is the way to go! With yoga it is known that you can cure almost any pain, because it is breathing and exercise all in one. Exercise loosens stiff muscles and breathing fills up the body cells with healthy dosages of oxygen.
Go in for non-steroid anti inflammatory medication such as an aspirin or ibuprofen. This not only helps in relaxing the muscles but also reduces the soreness. Consult a doctor before doing so.
Massages are also good for the body as the oils used can create a pleasing sensation that can make you forget the pain. If your muscle is cramped then a good untangling session with a pair of expert hands is the way to go!
As can be seen from the above causes and symptoms, muscle fatigue may seem ordinary but it can pave the way for several other complications. Hence, never take this condition for granted. Immediately consult a physician if you think your muscles have contracted into a state of no return or have been in pain for more than 24hours. Relieving the strain can be quite painful, so take care of your body because you need it for a long time to come!
