Music Mixing Using Fleximusic Audio Editor

Audio mixing is a process of combining/mixing two audio files into a single audio file

. Earlier they used recording process to create music. It was done in musical studios. Using musical instruments and vocals, they recorded the songs lively. The main drawback of recording is, if there is a small mistake in sounds or instruments they should rerecord it.

But now in this digital world, music creation is an easy method without any instruments and studios. Most of the sound engineers and independent artists are using a personal computer for this process. They record their own musical sounds, using instruments or they create sounds using software or they download free sound files directly from internet and mix them using Audio Editor.

Audio mixing is used in many places. In video creation, audio mixing plays a main role. Based on the video file we can mix different types of audio file to make the video as original. It can be used in dance competition, to make the songs as per their requirements. For web designers they can add some good songs for background music.

Lets see about audio mixing using FlexiMusic audio editor

Steps for Audio Mixing:

1. Open the files which you want to merge in FlexiMusic audio editor. Use the top tabs to switch between the files.

2. Consider that the two files named as violin.wav and voice.wav

3. Check the format for both files, make it same if they are different using the format menu (Menu > File > Format), if you have originally recorded with the same format then no need to change the format.

4. Adjust the volume of each.

5. Switch to "violin.wav" window, If you need a part of a sound do a selection with mouse or use Select All command to select the whole file, copy the selected part using Copy Selected (Menu > Edit > Copy Selected). As it copies you note down the duration shown.

6. With the piano sound in the Clipboard, switch to other file (voice.wav), Place the cursor on the position you want the mixing to start and click on the waveform for making one point selection, then use the command Paste-Mix (Menu > Edit > Paste-Mix).

7. After mixing you test play, If the volume is high or low for one you can undo and adjust the volume and mix again.

8. To save your mixed file, it is safer to save the file using the "Save As" command giving the file a new name.

Music mixing is an easiest way. Use the above steps, mix the good music and enjoy the pleasure of music.
