Citroen C6 is an inspired version of the C6 Lignage prototype which was first shown
at the Geneva Motor Show in the spring of 1999 but only had minor changes from the concept cars styling.Citroen initially hoped to start production of the Citroen C6 by the end of 2001 to replace the aging XM which was first produced in 1989, Citroen ceased the XM production in June 2000 but the first Citroen C6 came off the production line almost five years later.
The Citroen C6 is a stylish alternative to executive cars such as the BMW 5 series and the Audi A6 despite its hatchback shape. The Citroen C6 has a classic boot and features a unique to Citroen concave rare window similar to the Citroen CX and some models of Dodge in the 60s.

In a 2009 report which is based on the Euro NCAP tests of 2005, the Citroen C6 is currently Europes safest car and is closely followed by the Citroen C4. Due to its inventive design the Citroen C6 is the firstcar to receive four stars in the pedestrian test rating of Euro NCAP, where the bonnets pops up a little if hit , which increases the gap between the deformable bonnet and non-deformable engine components below.
As I was enjoying my mini road trip, I found the perfect Citroen C6 in Hampshire for my dad. The car was n excellent condition and the colour was just right.
