My Take on the Get Better Grades Now Course that Makes Large Claims on Increasing your GPA

There's a new course out called Get Better Grades now that actually claims to increase your grades on tests and homework with less effort in a shorter amount of time. I'm no genius, but that sounds pretty good to me. It's not that I'm a poor student, but if a product makes claims like that then who wouldn't try it out.

For a little background information on me, I'm 18 and a senior in highschool. I'm going to be studying journalism in college because I want to be a writer when I grow up and since I made that decision I've been writing reviews on almost every product or service I buy. This is no different, except for the fact that it's education and writing related. It's how I got my GPA to a 3.8 right before college and how I expect to keep it above a 3.5 in college.

When I first bought it, it was not groundbreaking information or even things I hadn't heard of before, it was just variations on what was already known. It looked promising and I had to try it so I went through the entire course and by the end I wanted to test out my newfound knowledge. I had an exam the next day and typical me hadn't started studying yet so I thought this would be the best time to really test out the techniques.

I studied the material for my exam, while going through the course and to my surprise when I went to go review the next morning I actually remembered everything I had studied. It wasn't like I memorized the material, but I actually understood everything. The techniques were mainly to improve concentration, make studying faster, and take less effort and looking back it actually did. I didn't study for as long, I didn't feel burnt out by the end, and I remembered everything I studied. It's like my mind was onsteroidsand ever since then I've used the same techniques over and over. I continue to go through the course so I'm not forgetting anything, but it was extremely helpful at the end of highschool and I'm sure it'll get me very far in college.
