My experience with InteligatorBefore I begin here is a little bit of background information on me. I work in Human Resources for a small company and I am responsible for the hiring on new employees. My job is difficult at times as I have to make decisions based on peoples applications.
I used to use a small local agency to run background checks for me but this proved to be very expensive, a background check could cost me up to $250 which isn't particularly cheap. I searched online for a better way of doing these checks and came across a service called Inteligator. I read it was an online service that allows you to carry out extensive background checks on anybody for a small fee.
I decided to give it a shot since anything had to be better than paying $250 a time. I went for the months membership and ran a few searches on some recent job applicants. The information that was given for each person was very impressive and in depth. I was able to view criminal records, court records, previous addresses, civil judgements, property ownerships and a whole host of other details.
It's proven to be a very handy tool to have and will save me a fortune when it comes to running background checks. I have found out some interesting criminal records on one recent applicant which could have been a disaster if I had have given him the job he went for!
