have been compromised and foreign powers have the ability to launch ICBM's at whichever target they wish to. This speculation creates an unknown, a fear of the dark as it were, that can be distorted in any way to tell us that there are monsters in the dark that wish to cut out our livers and live by eating our brains. This vacuum of information is a direct danger to our liberty as a nation as new laws cutting our freedoms can be instituted by the "necessary and proper" clause found in the Constitution in the name of "national defense". And it will work too, because we won't know any better.
