. Many people do not know they even have hypertension, as I did. It wasn't until one day my doctor decided to do a blood pressure check on me as I was constantly having headaches. He then discovered that I had high blood pressure! My doctor says it must be genetic, as most of the males in my family have high blood pressure. I am now a person who has to take those dreaded blood pressure pills I hate taking!
