Neck Lift And Facelift: Why They Go Together So Well

For a facelift, you can expect to heal for about ten days to two weeks, with some swelling at the surgery site. You will need to wear bandages and elevate your head for the first three days or so. After a neck lift, you will need to wear compression bandages for about a week, during which time you will likely also see swelling and bruising. In general, the recovery time for both surgeries is similar, which is why they complement each other so well.

If you want to eliminate jowls, deep wrinkles, corners of the mouth that droop, thick bands of fat on the throat, or similar issues, you could be a candidate for both of these operations. You will have to consult with your doctor to make sure you can get them both. After the operations are complete and you see your results, you will likely be glad you went for both.
