Network Marketers Need To Find Good Website Keywords To Get Listed High!

Are you a network marketer looking to get your website ranked in the search engines

? In order to get your website top billing in the search engines like Google, you have to be known by the right keywords.

This will definitely take some research on your part. What you're actually aiming for is what's called long tail keywords, which are the phrases that searchers use, who are about ready to buy. Once your research reveals what those long tail keywords are, then you can get your site listed as being pertinent to that search. This whole process is called Search Engine Optimatization and is a necessary process if you want your website found.

To get started with this process, try making a list of all the words that you feel might describe your website. Google alone has several free tools that you can use, like Google keywords or you can use a program called keyword tracker. Using the keyword tracker tool allows you to type in a keyword that you have chosen and it will show you a list of other words that you might find pertinent.

This could easily give you hundreds and hundreds of other keywords to choose from. As a general example if your website is about dog training, then that's the phrase you would type into the keyword research tool to find other relevant keywords. Once you have a good list of keywords that you can use, add those on your site as additional tag words for the search engines to crawl and index your site for.

Besides coming up with a list of relevant keywords for your site, you can also get other information like how many times a keyword is looked up in a monthly basis. Some keywords get thousands of hits every month and if you do any type of paid advertising like PPC, these words tend to be very expensive to bid on. Once you find the right keywords that pertain to your site and have checked the number of times that it has been researched on a monthly basis, the next step might be to drill down a little deeper and find keywords with less hits that you could use. This process would eliminate some of the competition and direct more visitors to your site. Always check your competitors websites in the search engines, look in the meta tags and see what words they are using.
