In every facet of life and commerce things continually modify; goods mature, business strategies develop, trends change along with there are individuals continuously searching for newer, more efficient ways of doing business. Or maybe more succinctly, quicker and more effective ways of achieving their objectives(once people appreciate what their goals actually are!).The Networking Industry is no different.

Having entered the MLM Industry in the customary way, and having beaten my head against the wall long enough, I came to appreciate there is more to network development than originally meets the eye.


Time-honoured Development.

Prospecting in the traditional standard fashion, approaching people in the "warm market" and attempting to "sell" the thought of becoming wealthy to individuals who want only to hide in the herd,keep their heads down and simply get through the week, is a grueling and tough way to follow.

Nevertheless if the desire is fervent enough , the mantra of "ratios" carries the day:

Present x number of plans on a consistent basis , y % of people will join the business;replicate this process and drill the depth searching for gold nuggets.

So is it really sensible to continue down such a difficult path?

Perhaps not; Im sure those who have been in the trenches awhile will be familiar with "He Who Shows The Most Plans Wins".

"Showing the Plan" to anyone who remains still long enough , is a hit and miss affair, but if the figures are significant enough, and if you persist long enough you will stumble across a few people who are serious about their success. It is these small number of significant individuals who, if trained and mentored properly, will open the road to wealth.

Since this method demands noteworthy persistence, self-discipline and an exceptionally thick skin, it is no great surprise to understand why so few really break through.

Does this traditional way of network development work? Yes, for those with unbending determination and persistence.

Fishing in the Right Pond.

Though, in simple terms, it would look idioticto go shark fishing in a trivial village pond.No matter how fast and long you fished, no matter what bait , time of day, style of line you use you will still be sharkless! Though if you sincerely want to hook a shark, doesn't it make sense to go where sharks live?

Yes simple, nevertheless many continue to struggle in their Networking businesses, running incredibly hard but not understanding why they make little or no progress. Oftentimes theymight catch what appears to be a shark (on the surface), but this shark may soon turn into a minnow.

When skilled in this strategy, attracting the "BIG" fish through adding value, exhibiting an Alpha personality and demonstrating the ability to "solve people problems," becomes much easier and the whole practiceof Network development far more pleasant.

Ratios.

Yes the ratios are still critical; and yes "he who shows the plan the most "still applies but the recruiting percentages will beconsiderably higher, the wins will be bigger, the numbers coming into the team will be greater, progress will be faster, momentum will kick in and it beats the hell out of trying to sell meat to vegetarians...
