Network Marketing Success in the Twenty First Century is rather altered than it use to be. The fundamentals of the business model is the same, except the methodology has changed. For years upon years network marketing has been founded on the principles of building a team of like minded individuals who can all benefit. For others they may have a hundred thousand dollar deal that may perhaps fall through or they have a lot of investments in a bad market.
To have network marketing success, you have got to understand that it is all about building relationships with people. Without people you will not succeed in this industry... period. The ways we connect with people today on the other hand is way different than we use to. So connecting with a person online is essentially, much like connecting with them offline.
Remember when you called someone and they picked up the phone, there was no email, and no internet? Those days are forever gone. To have network marketing success in today modern world, requires you to approach it in a different way.
Before the internet, you would call a person and share with them about an opportunity you found, send them a CD or get them on an introductory call. Then you would follow up to find out if they were at all interested. Next you would drag them, I mean invite, them to a business meeting so they can sit through a 2 hour presentation and decide to join or not.
Well, that approach worked very well and to this day it still does to a point. But, what tends to happen since the internet and caller ID came around, is this scenario. You connect with someone and tell them about an opportunity. They go to their computer and do a google search and learn a whole lot more about it. But they learned more through someone else who has more authority over you. If this person wants to be successful, who do you think they're going to be drawn to? That's right, the person online.
So to go on with the saga, the person kind of blows you off. Then you get a call from them 2 months later because they wanted to tell you about what they're doing both online and offline that is making them money and it is with a completely different company.
For network marketing success in the 21st century you have to be everywhere, all the time, at once. So if you do not have sexy tights and a cape, how do you accomplish this? It is simple, you learn how to market online to blend with your offline strategies. So when you're offline talking to someone and they do a google search, they find YOU instead of someone else. Pretty clever huh? Plus you can generate your own passive lead flow at the same time on auto-pilot.
To achieve this you must poses a working knowledge of personal branding and lead generation. This will allow you to be everywhere, all the time, generate your own leads, and even profit when someone says no to your opportunity.
