If you have been under a rock or hibernating for the last five years then you probably aren't aware that network marketing has exploded onto the internet. In fact if you speak with many of the self-made network marketing millionaires about how they have been so successful, all of them at some point will mention the internet.

Network marketing and Go Daddy

For a minute think back to the internet pioneer, Go Daddy. They burst onto the scene with their string of provocative internet ads during the Super Bowl. Spending millions of dollars to show off pretty girls in tight shirts with a hope to get you browse their website. It worked. The money rolled in. And of course many savvy marketers started to follow in their steps. A lot of those people made their money during the dot com period. But as with any great change of economy sooner or later the playing field adjusted and many of those dot com's went by the wayside. But it was an eye opener for the network marketer. Why? Because it was the first time that the internet was used to really make millions of dollars without much physical effort involved. It was also the first time that many of those network marketers were exposed to the massive amount of traffic that the internet contained. Quietly the real big network marketing pros started to make their presence felt. For the most part, they stayed under the radar.

Network Marketing is Huge on the Internet

Fast forward to today and you can't browse a site or get your email without getting some informative piece of marketing material from a network marketing guru telling you about the latest and greatest product, down line system, compensation plan or some other tidbit of network marketing spin.

So like it or not network marketing on the internet is here to stay for a while. Who can take advantage of the billions and billions of internet users? Anyone with a product or service to sell. Network marketers can now go from a simple in home party with friends and family to a stage of literally billions of listeners and viewers that all want to hear about what they have to say. Knowing how to put themselves in front of the appropriate audiences is now the strategies that many of the top network marketing pros work on every day instead of their company's compensation plan or presentation.

So what's in it for you? Well there is certainly an abundance of income to be made if you know how to put all the pieces together and get your story out to the masses. Network marketing is now more than ever a realistic income stream for many people because the internet has made it possible to touch so many people at one time. Done correctly the average person can have a nice secondary income stream from their network marketing company in no time flat.

Of course the old network marketing dogs still put together the grand stage shows and parties at people's homes, but they to know that the real money in network marketing very well may be online.
