When Logitech was first established in 1981, it focussed solely on mice, which were new at the time. The firm tried to provide consumers with a more intuitive way of interacting with personal computers.

Since those days, the organisation has gone on to expand far beyond the mouse and now has a broad portfolio of interface devices to offer. For example, it also provides keyboards, webcams, remotes, audio devices and security products, among many other items.
