Thus far the Saints have crushed a fair share of opposing teams on the field, including the Detroit Lions, Philadelphia Eagles and New York Giants. When they played against the Miami Dolphins in Week 7, New Orleans pulled off an incredible recovery by overcoming a deficit of 21 points; they went on to win the game 46-34. What helped turn the tide for the Saints was shortly into the second half when Dareen Sharper ran a pass an incredible 42 yards to score a touchdown. After that, the Saints kept their heads above water and gave elated fans a reason to cheer at the close of the matchup.

There is no doubt that Brees has helped to carry the team to multiple victories lately. He is currently the third most efficient passer in the entire NFL, has thrown 16 touchdowns and also directed the forceful offensive to about 35 points in five of their first seven games.

The Saints managed to get the stiff competition out of the way first, so their schedule for the remainder of the season looks pretty manageable. One thing is for certain, though: Saints fans will be glued to the tube over the next couple of months, and a few lucky ones will have the opportunity to see a game live.
