Nfl Tickets- Quarterback Controversies Abound

One of the most scrutinized positions on the football field is that of quarterback

. The stars of the league are often the quarterbacks of the top teams, like Drew Brees, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Eli Manning and others. Teams make careful decisions about who will be the man behind center every season, but sometimes the choice can lead to quarterback controversies. Only two weeks into the season, teams are already drawing attention for starting quarterback choices. NFL tickets allow fans to be a part of the on-field action. Below is a list of the teams with questions at QB.

Philadelphia Eagles: The Eagles lost longtime quarterback Donovan McNabb during the 2010 offseason, and that left them with Kevin Kolb and Michael Vick. Kolb was named the starter during the offseason, but the decision was questioned because of his performance during the team's season opener against the Green Bay Packers, which the Eagles lost. In that game, he was five of 10 for 24 yards, no touchdowns, no interceptions, one fumble and a passer rating of 56.2. He eventually left the game with a concussion.

Vick stepped in as a replacement in that game and went 16 of 24 for 175 yards, one touchdown, no interceptions, a passer rating of 101.9 and 103 rushing yards. Kolb was out for Week Two's game against the Detroit Lions, and Vick led the Eagles to a 35-32 win by going 21 of 34 for 284 yards, two touchdowns, no interceptions and a passer rating of 108.0. The totals were enough to convince head coach Andy Reid to hand Vick the starting position leading up to Week Three.

Tennessee Titans: The Titans have started the season with two losses-Week One against the Oakland Raiders and Week Two against the Pittsburgh Steelers-and that has led to a debate around starting quarterback Vince Young. In those two games, Young has gone 20 of 27 for 220 yards, two touchdowns, two interceptions, three fumbles and a passer rating of 91.6. His backup is veteran Kerry Collins, but coach Jeff Fisher has insisted that Young will remain the starting quarterback.

Carolina Panthers: The Panthers may have a quarterback change on their hands only two weeks into the regular season. Matt Moore was the starting quarterback, but two losses seemed to be the catalyst for his demotion. In those losses, he had combined stats of 20 of 29 for 207 yards, two touchdowns, four interceptions, three fumbles and a passer rating of 41.8. During their Week Two loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Moore was replaced by rookie backup Jimmy Clausen, who didn't fare a whole lot better against the Bucs. Despite this, coach John Fox made Clausen the starter, presumably because he sees more potential in Clausen.

Oakland Raiders: In the offseason, the Raiders parted ways with draft bust quarterback JaMarcus Russell. That left them with Jason Campbell and Bruce Gradkowski. Campbell started the first two regular season games, but coach Tom Cable decided to bring in Gradkowski during Week Two, helping the Raiders top the St. Louis Rams 16-14. In that game, he went 11 of 22 for 182 yards, one touchdown, one interception and a passer rating of 70.6. That rating is above both of Campbell's ratings for the season, and so far Cable isn't talking about his QB plans for the rest of the season.
