Nfl Tickets - Week 6 Fantasy Pickups

Here are some players that could be worth picking up in your fantasy football league.

Kyle Orton, Quarterback, Denver Broncos: Orton doesn't have the tools that prototypically sell tons of NFL tickets, but he's really getting the job done in Denver. His team is 5-0 and he's registered a solid fantasy performance every week this season. He's got the weapons to succeed and it looks like the offensive unit is really gelling in Josh McDaniels' scheme. For all the trouble that McDaniels caused in the offseason, he's certainly making up for it when it counts.

Austin Collie, Wide Receiver, Indianapolis Colts: Collie seems to be developing into a reliable target for Peyton Manning and he appears to be carving out a significant role in this offense. He runs good routes, and with a guy like Manning, that will always bring him opportunities. Collie seems to be a more consistent threat than the big play-oriented Pierre Garcon, so he's essentially the third option in this potent passing attack, at least until Anthony Gonzalez returns.

Eddie Royal: Royal finally broke out of his funk in Week 5, catching 10 balls for 90 yards. Now that's more like the Eddie Royal we got used to seeing last season. Royal may have taken a while to get accustomed to Kyle Orton, or vice versa, but it looks like they're on the same page now. Royal has the potential to be a monster in points per reception leagues and is a viable play in standard formats as well.

Miles Austin, Wide Receiver, Dallas Cowboys: Austin had a career day in Week 5, setting a Dallas Cowboys record with 250 receiving yards. He caught 10 balls in that game, two for touchdowns. Whether this is an aberration or not, time will tell, but you've got to at least consider picking him up if you've got the room on your roster.

Justin Forsett, Running Back, Seattle Seahawks: This would be a flyer to consider if you've got a spare spot on the bench. He's been the most electric ball carrier on the field for the Seahawks this season, but getting on the field seems to be the issue. Julius Jones and Edgerrin James don't look great, so Forsett could get a shot at some point this season.

Jeremy Maclin, Wide Receiver, Philadelphia Eagles: Maclin had his coming out party in Week 5, hauling in six catches for 142 yards and two long touchdowns. Maclin has the speed to be a deep threat and his breakout performance could be a sign that Donovan McNabb likes going to him.

Hakeem Nicks, Wide Receiver, New York Giants: Nicks figures to get more involved in the Giants' offense as the season progresses and he gets used to the pro game. He was one of the most NFL-ready rookie receivers coming out of the draft, though, and may already be on many fantasy rosters had he not been injured. He's a big body, which should spell a lot of red zone targets from Eli Manning. I wouldn't be surprised to see him overtake Mario Manningham for the starting job by the end of the season.
