Nissan Dealers In Chicago Get Pricing News On 2011 Gt-r
Theres wonderful news for the sports car fanatics at least those with a good disposable income
. Nissan recently announced pricing for its 2011 GT-R sports cars which are already being sold at some dealers in the United States. Nissan dealers in Chicago are thrilled with this thrill ride and are confident that customers will be as well.
After eliminating the base model, Nissan is left with only the GT-R Premium as the sole representative of its all-wheel drive sports car. That car will have a Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price of $84,060 before tax and other necessary fees like license and title. This is an increase of about $1,000 over the 2010 model. But when you visit a Chicago Nissan dealership you will get a taste of all the added amenities in the 2011 model and see that in slight price increase is nominal in comparison to the luxuries which have been incorporated.
Not a lot of changes mark the 2011 model, but the wheel center caps are darker, rear cooling ducts have been added to allow for better cooling in the rear floor area and an extra clear coat has been added to the fascias, front and rear. Buyers also will appreciate stronger rear bushes which offer a more comfortable ride and a retuned suspension system.
Lets be honest, even though its a sports car, with speed and power as the main event, comfort plays a large part in how much the car actually gets driven, and for a price like the GT-R comfort is certainly expected. Nissan dealers in Chicago invited customers to test dive the GT-R and experience the smooth ride for themselves.
While those who thirst for power and performance might be slightly disappointed that they wont see big changes where it counts, the 485-horsepower 3.8-liter V6 twin turbo engine paired with a 6-speed, dual-clutch transmission is still extremely impressive and gets the job done. If you consider it carefully, was there really a lot of room for improvement here? Sure, it could be bigger, but that means more costly and less efficient in most cases, and this engine has proven to be fine.
Of course, theres more to a sports car than just whats under the hood. A bit of flash, a lot of technology and a touch of luxury are always welcome. On the convenience level, speed-sensitive windshield wipers and auto on/off headlights allow for less micro-management and more enjoyable driving. Your Chicago Nissan dealership can introduce you to these features and show you available options as well.
Techies will feel at home with the Streaming Audio with Bluetooth and DVD playback along with a USB iPod interface. These standard features are joined by an upgraded navigation system with NavWeather and XM NavTraffic options.
Those of us looking for a flashy new ride this spring have found it. The Nissan GT-R has the whole package and wont disappoint any driver with a need for speed and a taste for comfort and class.
