If other facts were added such as the horrendous lives and deaths of farm factory animals, and the great volume of natural resources necessary to feed my unhealthy habit, I might very well have reacted with the same type of commentary which I referenced at the beginning of this article. I am not mad at the folks quoted above who babbled their inanities. I understand them. My natural human tendency is no different. I guess that is why I have been known to do some insensible babbling myself from time to time. It is human nature to become defensive when one of our bad choices are exposed. Nevertheless, all of my defense mechanisms which are inherent in my human nature notwithstanding, facts are still facts.
