It is not unusual for the outfits to have no sleeves even for winter wear as the women are rarely outside of a controlled climate in these outfits. They wear stoles, or shawls, around their shoulders to provide protective warmth until they get from the building to the car they will be riding in.

You will see a large number of these types of gowns done in solid colors with very little adornment. This is done so that the jewelry the lady chooses will stand out and not be lost because of the pattern of the material.

Evening dresses for girls are something they anticipate getting old enough to wear, and when they do the garments are every bit as lovely as the child dreamed they would be.
