Originally built as the residence of the employees of English tea broking firms, it also holds the rare distinction of being the first hotel in Fort Kochi.

The owner, Edgar Pinto sought the help of Swiss/German architect Karl Damschen to refurbish this hotel without robbing off its original flavour . There are thirteen spacious rooms, which are named after the old streets of Fort Kochi and suites that overlook a pretty lily pond and garden. The high wooden ceilings, the open courtyard, the sweeping views of the bay- the list of its attractive features are virtually endless!
