I tend to submit my articles to ezinearticles. After I submit my online marketing articles I use spinning software to create more versions of the same articles. I then submit all of these (maybe 5 different versions of each article) using article submitting software. But what I then do is link all of the new spun articles back to the original article for it's keyword. This means my original article now has more backlinks all coming from related sources.
You've got to remember that even once you've submitted your articles and videos it will take time for the search engines to rank them. You could be waiting months before you even get near the top pages. So the best thing to do is just carry on submitting more and more and be patient.
