It is only due to the fact that most of the people do not take proper care of their nails. If your toenails are provided with such environment that is warm and moist, then these conditions allow the fungus to grow. Locker room floors, work boots, sharing towels, and the work situations where your hands are constantly wet and these are the places where the nail fungus is easily developed.
