Open Interpretation To Abstract Art Painting

Nowadays, paintings are just generalized into two namely representational paintings and abstract paintings

. Paintings are not outdated just as what many think because at the present time digital imagery through cameras can be achieved with just a click away. Not like paintings which require great time, imagination, creativity and talent.

Representational painters are undoubtedly talented artists. They can capture a moment through their works. Mainly, these artist paint pictures such as calm seascapes, green meadows, lush green mountains and bright blue skies. Real objects in real situations.They can even paint a portrait of you with stunning likeness and liveliness. Still, they are limited to visualizing what is true or real. Just as what is said earlier, the same results can be achieved through pictures produced by cameras and might even be better.

Not like representational artists, the nature of abstract painters is to produce an artwork that is attention grabbing through its uniqueness. Abstract painters use their wild imaginations, creative minds and emotions and show it through their works of art. The finished work may not resemble anything in particular such as real objects but the combination of colors, different strokes and uniqueness can grab a viewers attention more effectively as representation paintings can. The artworks are made from the deep emotions of the artist that he wants to portray to his audience using his painting.

Be reminded that not all viewers may appreciate an abstract art. Abstract paintings connect through individuals through the hidden meaning of the painting which is up to the viewer to comprehend. This gives that unique quality to the painting. The environment can also be a factor to how the audience can give meaning to the art. The aim of an abstract painting is to let the viewer think critically and not let his mind become passive and stagnant. Each painting has its own mood and feeling but then again its up to the viewers to know what its meaning is. It is more of a subjective art rather than objective.

The connection between the artist and the viewer will be seen through how the abstract painting can impact the viewer. Artworks display in one way or another the artist emotion and this is what the aim of an abstract painting is. For the artist to convey his feelings and thought to a canvas and connecting with someone gives art a whole new meaning.
