Opportunity Seeker Or Doer ?

If you have been looking into an online business or internet marketing for any amount of time you'll be familiar with what I'm about to address

. The buzz words: Online Opportunity, Internet Business Opportunity, Work from Home, Fire Your Boss Etc., you get the idea. These are very popular buzz words that Hold out hope for many people.

For a long time I fell into the "Opportunity Seeker" profile. The opportunity seeker is the person who keeps jumping around from, you guessed it, opportunity to opportunity. For some strange reason the opportunity seeking person keeps thinking that the next new thing is going to be the magic system or program to get them to success. They think that an internet business is somehow much easier to own and operate compared to a traditional business. The Opportunity Seeker Market is Huge for this reason. There are many marketers out there that count on this form of laziness , yes I said Laziness, to keep this type of person coming back for more and more. The problem is, Success never arrives for the Opportunity Seeker. The reason I can be so blunt is because I was there.

I owned and operated my own catering business for many years and about 5 years ago I started looking into the Online Business Opportunities. To my surprise I was sucked in to many of the convincing sales letters and products that claimed how easy an internet business could be. Trust me , I was used to working hard , sometimes 60-70 hours a week and those claims of working 10 hours a week and make a six figure income really sucked me in. It's almost like you forget common sense for a while and think it could be that easy! Well to make a long story short Opportunity seeking is just that seeking. It's looking and never finding. It's the carrot out in front of you that you can never get.

After a lot of wasted time and money I figured it out. Being in business for yourself(which I was used to already) takes a lot of time and effort. The good thing is the time and effort you put in will pay off more for an Online business versus a Traditional business. I'll explain a little here. Most of the systems you learn building an Online business are meant to be automated at some point in time. This means that when you get to that point in your business, income will come in without you personally doing any work. As opposed to working hours for $ , you do a lot of work up front and make a residual type income in the future that will far outweigh the hours you would have to put in to make it. This is what is called FREEDOM at some point in the future of your online business.

What I figured out, after more time than I'd like to admit, is that you need to start from scratch, do the research necessary and educate yourself. There are many forms of free information out there that will help you find the education you need to succeed Online. There are also many great programs available to educate you in this area. I'll direct you to the best training available in my opinion. Treat your search for FREEDOM seriously and don't be scammed into thinking it's going to be easy. Stop being and opportunity seeker and start getting the education you need to succeed!
