The limestone cavern called Organ Cave is about one-half mile from the post office of the same name. This cave has fascinated tourists from all parts of the US and other foreign countries. Two entrances to organ cave make it unique. One is the large opening where the visitor is taken in and the other is where the small torrent of water goes in. The latter one entrance is so low down that one has to crawl through the entrance. Many years back a number of young men discovered the cave from this entrance and found some little sleighs which are consideration to have been used in the receiving out of saltpeter for making gunpowder during the War of 1812. The entrance is so low and narrow that the only way to get it out was to pack it on sleds and illustrate it throughout.You will come across with so many adventures and unique places for hang out near organ cave.
