. Wilfred Winkebach was the original creator of the idea of making the dream teams.

The set of rules they presented was named the GOPPPEL, which stood for Greater Oakland Professional Pigskin Prognosticators League. Simply put, teams were made by predictors (prognosticators) who knew enough about the game and the players to be able to tell future outcomes.
