The first tip is to known thy enemy. In order to win against any opponent you must first know their strengths and weaknesses. Your opponents while playing Pac-man games are the Ghost. The red ghost is the one to watch out for when you are in a long stretch because if you do not soon hit a corner he will get you. For this reason the red ghost is appropriately named Speedy. The next ghost to look out for speed wise is the pink ghost called Pinky. Now that you know not to get in to a speed match with either of these ghosts we can move on to the next tip.

The next tip is to try to establish a pattern of moving through each of the mazes smoothly without changing course if you can help it. You also should save the power pills for when you have no other choice in maneuvering. If you are cornered and you are forced to eat the power pill try to do so only when all of the ghosts are clustered together as this will make chomping them all for maximum points easier to do.

The next tip is to practice moving around the mazes treacherous corners. If you are proficient at this then getting away from a trailing ghost will ultimately be a lot easier. The best way to sharpen your skills at this is to mentally hit the corner before you actually get to it.

The last tip is to avoid getting caught in the ghost named Blinky's domain which happens to be in the top right section of the maze. When Blinky is in this area he is very fast and can wipe you out quick especially during the later stages of the game when all of the Ghosts are moving faster. The best thing to remember is that the middle of the maze is the safest place for Pac-man so if you can spend more time in this safe area you are likely to last longer and get further in the game.
