Panasonic TC-P50C2 Viera 50 Plasma HDTV Review
Panasonic TC-P50C2 Viera 50 Plasma HDTV Review
Panasonic says you can make "every night family night" with itsTC-P50C2 Viera 50 Plasma HDTV and that it "offers crisp, focused images during fast-moving scenes". But how much of that is true?
Overall Thoughts & Points From Misc. Customer Reviews:
The TC-P50C2 utilizes Panasonic's 600Hz Sub-field Drive technology. This takes each frame (of which 60 are shown each second) and breaks it down into 10 individual "sub-fields" so that motion is more fluid, afterimages are lessened, and picture is more clear overall.
Being a Viera television, this television comes equipped with the Viera image viewer just insert your SD card from your HD camera directly into the slot on the TV to immediately see your pictures or videos. Also, with Viera Link, you can connect various devices (DVD Player, Blu-Ray, surround sound, etc) with HDMI cables, and control them all with your Viera remote.
Overall customers at Amazon.com, Panasonic's website, and Best Buy.com were pretty happy purchasing the TC-P50C2. The vast majority of the ratings were 4 out of 5 stars or higher.
The general consensus of opinion was that this was a very good TV for what it was. Many reviewers agreed that you could find a better picture on other models, and that you really needed HD content via satellite or cable, or Blu-Ray player for programming to really look good. However, to get that higher quality, you had to pay a much higher price, so this TV is a very, very good value for the money.
The Panasonic TC-P50C2 Viera 50 Plasma HDTV comes with the TV itself, remote control, batteries for the remote, and assorted paperwork/instructions.
