Panasonic WV-LC1700 comes with one RCA cable, two BNC composite video, a 15 pin HD, VGA and a mini DIN S-video In.

This monitor LCD 17 has an aspect ratio of 5:4, a resolution of 1280x1024 and a contrast ratio of 800:1. Brightness is at 300 nits, not that very high, and the vertical and horizontal viewing angles are 80 to 75 angle viewing. It weighs about 15 + lbs and it's a bit "overweight" in competition with other models from monitor LCD 17 category. The only place to stand for this monitor is on its pivot, it can not be mounted in wall or in furniture. The pivot also makes it a bit hard to turn up and down ways.

The price of this monitor is very height, at its lowest 593$. You can defiantly go for a better price and more features plus extra quality if you keep looking. The screen is pivot stand and can be adjusted for angle viewing, but its design does not look all that much Panasonic. The color is a dark gray and another option available is a lighter gray.

So what does this monitor do? Well, it's a bit too expensive for being used in schools, as for this price a school management could purchases touch screen technology, but it can be used in business companies and institutions. Because of the small viewing angle it is not that great to use for home entertainment, or for browsing pictures with your friends on it. Other than this, the response rate is not all that good at 25 milliseconds, make it not that impressive in providing clear images when playing a video or HD movies.

For this high price, you can purchase another device, especially if you intend to use it for home. For company use, the monitor can easily be replaced with higher performance and lower cost devices existing on the market today.

The warranty period is about 3 years, with replacement for damaged parts and labor. The warranty is null if you take apart the monitor or take it to another Service Company.
