Panasonic introduces the Lumix G lens 3D Micro System
Panasonic announced today that it is working on a 3D lens with two optical elements for the Lumix G Micro Four Thirds
. It will use interchangeable lenses in two optical systems to create separate images for right and left eyes. Processor camera do the work to combine images into one 3D image and how.
As the development is in progress, details about the lens is limited in exactly the G-series cameras that are compatible with the lens. Panasonic promises that the 3D lens would be compact, and that it will record 3D images, which are free of distortion and the interval between capture of images to the left and right.
