Paul Rudd's Most Hilarious Roles In Recent Memory

When it comes to the funniest actors out there right now

, one person who has to be mentioned is Paul Rudd. Guys seem to like him and girls definitely love him. Paul Rudd has been showing up in virtually every good comedy to come out in the past few years, and shows no sign of slowing down any time soon.

This article will discuss what I consider to be Paul Rudd's funniest films thus far in his career.

One movie that I absolutely loved was Knocked Up. Seriously, any time this movie is on television, I have to watch it. It is both funny and heartfelt, and while I don't really care for Katherine Heigl, everyone else in this film is great.

Another movie that stars Paul Rudd that is definitely one of my favorites is Clueless. This is a classic 1990s film and a role that Paul Rudd himself probably is not proud of. He actually plays a serious role in this film, for a change.

Wet Hot American Summer is another film that Rudd stars in that is absolutely hysterical. This film never got the exposure it deserved, maybe in part due to the fact that it was very limited in release. In fact, I'm not sure if it was ever in theaters at all.

I Love You, Man definitely makes the list for me as well. This movie focuses around a duo of newly formed friends in Paul Rudd and Jason Segal. This movie has some truly uncomfortable scenes, as Rudd's character tries to befriend another man. It is much funnier than I make it sound.

One other great film that I have to include on this list is The 40 Year Old Virgin. This Judd Apatow directed comedy was one of the surprise hits when it came out. This movie also stars Steve Carell, Catherine Keener and Romany Malco.

As it stands, this is my list of the best Paul Rudd films thus far. There is no doubt that he will star in some hilarious comedies for years to come.
