Pay Attention To Battery Information On Your Taskbar
Windows power meter do not provide as much information about your laptop Battery
. If you are not charged, you will see a battery on your traybar. Double-click to open Power meters and the current source view, a total of remaining battery power and total remaining time.

I found a free software that provides much more information about your laptop battery.
Notebook Battery Info is able to the intrinsic values of the notebook battery indicator. It is easy to find out the battery wear or the maximum usable capacity of the IBM Thinkpad X41 Battery. It can even be a more detailed battery information in comparison to Windows power meter.

I prefer notebook battery info on the default Windows Battery Meter, because the icon in the traybar shows only the rough estimate of remaining Lenovo Thinkpad t60 Battery capacity. If more detailed information, the mouse must have needed the VGP-BPS8A battery icon hovered show a tooltip with the exact remaining capacity. As for Notebook Battery Info, the current battery values are always displayed in the taskbar, making it much easier for you to know, at the exact remaining capacity.
