Remember the programs advertised will not necessarily provide you with access to anything that's not already found on the Web. Some pieces of software are nothing more than a searchable list of websites that present streaming video.

Furthermore, there are sites that claim to be "free". However, in reality, they are only partially free. For instance, they may advertize that you can enjoy 200 programs for free, but when you sign up, you get only 70 and are asked to pay a small amount to get the entire 200 programs. While this might not be so bad, keep in mind the fact that these guys are misadvertizing their product. You wouldn't want to do business with dishonest merchants.
