Lighting is also the most essential element in the decoration of home. Many homes are gloomy because they don't have enough lighting fixtures wherein these lights bring energy inside the home. It makes everything look more visible and also makes the look more prominent.

Lighting also plays an important role in television, cinema, theater, paintings, art and photography. For example in video and photography, you need strong light to capture an image. And in films, theaters, or television, it can direct the viewer's attention. For example in storytelling, it can establish the setting by indicating the time of the day or even the season when a given scene is taking place.

There are different types of lighting like the tasking lighting, which is basically used while you are reading a book. The light concentrates on the small words of the book and words become clear and prominent. And the accent lighting, this is commonly used in restaurants and clubs. It enhances the beauty of the pictures and decoration pieces in a room. The light focuses on the fixtures and when it reflects back it makes the fixture look more beautiful. But there are also normal lights like bulbs, tube lights and pendant lighting which are used as ceiling lights.

We also use lighting outdoor which is very important most especially at night time. Sometimes the lights are installed in streets and lawns or simply just outside your home. It will help you see who is approaching your home. It is also useful to determine if there are any suspicious persons or activities outside your house. A house that is well lighted, is safe from thieves and burglars. For you to see everything outside, it is important that you should always see and know what is happening around you. For example, you can put pendant lighting by the gate of your house. This furniture is useful to check any noise, which can be caused by intruders. It helps you to monitor your yard and prevent any potential burglars from their bad intents.
