PeopleSoft, now a part of Oracle, provides human resource management systems (HRMS)

and customer relationship management (CRM) software, as well as software solutions for manufacturing, financials, enterprise performance management, and student administration to large corporations, governments, and organizations.

PEOPLESOFT Inc, the second largest enterprise application software vendor, has its development center in India and plans to add another 1000 to its head count this year as per the Hindu business line. This suggests that they plan to offload more development work to its centers in India. Currently, about 10 per cent of the company's product development is being done out of India through the partners. These centres have played a significant role in enabling PeopleSoft to lead the way in lowering cost and improving their customers' total ownership experience.

India as everyone knows has become the hub for outsourcing and PeopleSoft is no exception. Companies are now outsourcing their PeopleSoft development, management and implementation to companies in India with such expertise.
