First of all.... I have recently came to US and after discussing with some of my colleagues who bought a 32" used LCD TV at around $400 - samsung and sony. Also after discussing with some other friend, I just decided that Samsung is the best for LCD TV and realized that I COULD get a new one in the same price range. So I was blindly looking for all offers here and there and just wanted to pick if anywhere I found a samsung 32" with 720 p (no need to go for 1080p as for 32" it doesn't make any difference), that I will grab one.
Then this one day, I was at Walmart store, and I saw Samsung 32" and PHilips 32" (this one) together and to my surprise, ANYONE can easily see the difference of the picture quality between them. The samsung one was literally a little blurred than what I saw on Philips TV (same program) and that too a great price (below $400).
So to double check, I again googled to see reviews for PHilips. Many expert editors have really given good stars to this Philips 32PFL3504D 720p. So I believed that it is just a belief among people that Philips LCDs are not that good. But I decided to go by expert's choice.
To add a few words, the one I found at Walmart was going a little above $400 after adding tax and to my surprise on the same day I found that Amazon is giving the same TV at same price (I bought at $388) with no tax and free shipping. Immediately placed order - got it early than what amazon used to say (which is quite common).
The Philips 32PFL3504D 720p is very well packed, easy to open and amazingly easy to setup. The display result is awesome. I feel my every penny has over paid me for this TV.
I would certainly recommend anyone to buy this TV. Comments welcome if anyone wants to know anything else.
