Are you confused weather a certain photo paper will work with your printer
?
Well its a very common question people ask me everyday.
As far as I understand the paper itself does not know which printer it is being used on. So as to the handling and sizes they are pretty much universal.
Now the actual coating on the paper is designed to stop the ink being absorbed into the paper and rather floats and dries fast on the surface. Some papers have extra coatings to stop it curling or make it a little more durable to UV light. Inkjet printers use pigmented or dye based ink and these will work on any photo paper weather its matt, gloss, satin. The same coating used on photo paper can be applied to a variety of materials such as cotton, plastic film, foil etc that will have a similar effect of floating and drying quickly on the surface to provide an excellent photographic image.
So my advice is dont be afraid to try different branded photo paper in your machine, the best paper we have in stock is the PE coated range from Felix Schoelle and others from: Canon & Epson.
