Phuket Island Is Always The Right Place

Phuket is an incredible place to spend the holidays wherever you might live in the world

. Even though it is a bit far for some, once you arrive, the prices for everything are so cheap, the journey is worth it. One of the most popular things to do is to take a dinner cruise around one of the many bays and inlets that make up Phuket. Another popular activity is rafting down the rivers that begin on the mountains.

Those who like to golf can go to Blue Canyon near Phang Nga Bay. After teeing off all day, you can go see the Phuket FantaSea Show, which is a favorite among tourists. Dont forget about the Similan Islands, which is an internationally famous place for snorkeling and diving. The more erudite traveler might like to visit Thalang National Museum, which exhibits a lot of Thai handicrafts and Thai historical displays.

Temples worth visiting are Wat Phra Thong, and Wat Chalong. Nature lovers will enjoy Had Nai Yang National Park in the northwest corner of the island. Try the Phuket Shell Museum on Rawai Beach with some beautiful displays and souvenirs for sale.

Entertainment venues are nearby and the beach is a short walk or ride away. Beach life here consists of a wide choice of things to do. Whether sitting in a beach chair and relaxing, or exploring the many different beaches on Phuket Island, its all here. There is parasailing, jet-skiing, kite-boarding, water-skiing, or diving and snorkeling. Other activities include Muay Thai boxing events and lessons, Thai cooking classes, and trekking through the jungles and forests on elephants. Sports activities such as football and volleyball can be found at various parks or beach areas. There is also a stadium for rugby, football, and jogging at the southern end of the west side of Phuket. There is also a shrine to Brahma surrounded by thousands of wooden elephants known as the Elephant Shrine. Monkey Hill is a favorite place for locals and travelers to visit.

Two of the best waterfalls on Phuket are Ton Sai and Bang Pae, they are part of The Khao Praew Thaew National Park. Temperatures range from an average of 24C to 32C. November to March is the high season with less rain and humidity. Low season is May through September when It rains a lot and gets very humid. Most visitors usually come back again when they discover Thailands charm, so be prepared to make plans the next time around.
