Picking The Right Underwear For Their Purpose

Women's underwear can serve so many different purposes

. Some ladies just can not bear the thought of going without underwear of some kind. In days gone by there were only one or two types, but these days there are a variety of styles to choose from. Some are meant to wear under one type of outfit and others for something else. Some are meant for everyday wear and some are made especially to not show lines under tight fitting clothes like lycra, spandex, cotton or knits

Ladies underwear can be purchased in different heights. You have bikini, low rise, mid rise, and high rise. Always choose the underwear that will look the best under whatever outfit you are wearing. Panties serve their purpose, but they can be really unattractive when you can make out their outline under what you have on. Thongs are great when you have on clothes that fit snugly on your rear end. They do not show the backside panty lines that can look so unflattering. Wearing a thong might take a little getting used to for some women, but once you have mastered them, you will wonder how you ever did without them before!

Panties are also a great seductive statement you can wear for those special romantic encounters. The last thing you want to have on during a romantic interlude are what is referred to as the baggy granny panties that you mother might have worn back in the day! However, skimpy little thongs or bikinis might show a bit more than you are comfortable with. Skimpy panties are not the only sexy panties. You can wear some cute booty shorts that are sexy too, but they provide you with more coverage in places you would like to have it. A mid rise or even high rise pair of underwear can be sexy as well when they are lacy or frilly.

Hand washing your finest underwear will work wonders when it comes to keeping them new looking. Usually a little soaking in some gentle detergent will clean them well enough and keep them from raveling or becoming tatty looking. Do not be afraid to spend more for quality underwear because they usually will last longer and stay great looking longer too. The underwear a woman wears can make her feel sexy and seductive even though most of the time no one sees them. It is how they make you feel that really counts!
