Picking up women in the street in Eastern Europe
With the spring here and the East European women coming out of hibernation flashing their flesh, it is definitely the time to address day game (or, street sharking, as I like to call it). As a side note, where are all these girls in the winter? Is it because we don't notice them when they're all covered up in jackets, scarves and hats? Are they locked away in their apartments because of the cold? Have they migrated abroad to warmer countries during the winter?
Getting back to the topic at hand, going up to girls in the street can be a very efficient strategy in Eastern Europe because of the high quantity of hot ones about; ones that you might not see in the club at night. It's not like the West where opportunities are scattered and few and far between. Furthermore, a lot of the nice girls you see in the street don't necessarily go to clubs, instead choosing the theater, tea houses, private get-togethers in friends' apartments or other cultural events.
An argument I've heard is that women are in a different frame of mind during the day, and not in the mood to be social, like when they are partying. However, on the weekend the girls are more relaxed on the street, and even during the week if they are students on holiday or girls taking some time off.
Targeting
I think the best target to approach is one you are getting some sort of indication of interest from, like eye contact, playing with their hair, feet/body pointing towards you, or sustained lingering near you. Girls are more open about showing their interest in Eastern Europe.
If you see a walking target in street, your eyes lock, and you walk past, maybe turn back, call after her, or get her attention by touching her on the elbow. Another thing you can do is plan to bump into a girl, making it look like fate. In a caf, be sure to sit at table near them, as it is less threatening to talk.
Opening lines
Now, in terms of specific approach lines, I will run through a few examples.
If your intentions are obvious, and you don't want to look too creepy, I recommend a direct opener, such as:
"Hi. I noticed you, and had to come over and say, Hi.'"
This line is particularly good for hitting a girl on the street or subway.
If you can be more stealth in your approach, then use an indirect opener. In the street you could ask the following:
"Excuse me. Do you know where (a certain place of interest) is?"
"Do you know any good (places of interest)?"
We particularly use this technique to ask girls which are top clubs in a city we are visiting.
Qualifying yourself
In order to get rid of any awkwardness, you may want to chuck in another statement, qualifying yourself, such as:
"I don't usually do this."
"You seemed friendly and open." or, "You seemed like you have a really good energy about you."
The second line
It is really important to keep the momentum going by having default second lines available at your disposal. Some great ones include the following:
"What are you up to now?" or, "Where are you going now?"
"Where are you guys going tonight?" or, "Are you guys going to (a certain club)?" (particularly good after asking for a club recommendation)
"What is your name?"
"Are you from (this city)?"
"What else is there to do in (this city)?"
"While you're here, can I ask you something else?"
Duration of your attack run
I would probably limit any conversation to a few minutes, maybe excusing yourself to race off to a meeting or meet friends. In order to get their number, ask if it's possible to keep the conversation going at another time (because of the good vibe), or invite them to some place or event over the ensuing days.
