Pimple Remedies - Say Goodbye To Acne
It's bad enough that acne hits you during the worst times possible; but it's even
tougher when there are no pimple remedies that seem to work for you.
Don't worry--you're not alone in this. Most teenagers, almost 90% of the young population, go through a rough phase wherein skin eruptions and inflammations appear on the T-zone, which starts from the middle and sides of the forehead to the middle of nose up to the chin area. This is the area that is most prone to acne breakouts mainly because the face is very much exposed to dust and germs. Plus, the face has a lot of corners and crevices where oil collects the most and clogs the pores, resulting in the development of these unwanted pimples.
Although pimples are not a serious threat to one's health, the severity of the acne can lead to permanent scarring, affecting not only a person's physical appearance but one's outlook on life as well. Pimples have been proven to have adverse psychological impact on teens, particularly because this is the time of their lives that they're most conscious about their looks. It's no wonder then that many young adults are becoming more open and experimental when it comes to trying out various pimple remedies for their skin.
However, although pimple remedies do work, acne breakouts can still keep on coming back, especially when that part of the face is aggravated. What can cause this to happen? And how can you completely prevent acne from showing up on your skin?
1) Cysts are more likely to appear when oil and bacteria are forced into the deeper layers of our skin. This usually happens when one tries to squeeze of pop the pimple out.
2) Keep your hands off your face. The oils from your hair can get to your face whenever you run your fingers through the strands then proceed to touching your face. Acne areas are so sensitive that germs, skin flakes and bacteria can easily irritate it.
3) Excessive skin rubbing can cause irritation and lead to pore clogging.
4) Stress and tension are not only bad for the health, but it can also make you feel and look worse when acne breakouts happen.
5) Hydration is not just good for the body; it's good for the skin as well. Maintain moisture especially during the cold season.
6) Remember this guide when washing your face. Start with lukewarm water for washing the face, but finish the regimen with cold water because it will help shrink and close any open pores.
These simple steps are actually basic pimple remedies that most people usually take for granted.
However, when treating acne, always remember that your face is not the only problem area that can be targeted by acne. At the end of the day, it is always best to consult with your dermatologist as to what pimple remedies will work best for your particular skin type.
