Pink Eyes Caused By Different Factors

Especially, some seasonal allergens can cause great damage to our eyes. If pink eye happens due to allergens, we should first find out where are these allergens from. After knowing where root is, we should try to avoid them.

If we often suffer from pink eye cause by allergens, we should take some special measures. For example, antihistamines and ibuprofen are beneficial for us. If pink eye is caused by some chemical substances, we should keep away. Some chemical pollutants can worsen pink eye.

If pink eye is serious, we should consult with our eye doctor immediately. This is much more important for virus-caused pink eye. Conjunctivitis of this sort is much more serious and some special eye check and treatments are needed. Or sometimes infection on cornea can also lead to infection of conjunctiva. It is also found that viral conjunctivitis can also be spread to others and we should be cautious in our daily lives.

Pink eye can also be caused by bacteria. For this, we should clean our eyes with warm washcloths and never rub if we feel irritated. Therefore, hygiene is the most important aspect to be considered. If the symptom gets worse on and on, we may use some special eye drops for further treatment. Of course, the eye drops and other medicines should be prescribed according to our personal situation. In other words, we should ask eye doctors for some eye exams and get some prescribed medicines for the problem.

What should be avoided when there is pink eye are contact lenses. It is true that contact lenses can lead to further infection if we have conjunctivitis. And try to keep cleanly of eyes and hands everyday.

On the whole, most conjunctivitis will disappear within certain period of time and we should be very careful and cautious in many aspects. If we do not know what should be noticed, it is a good ideal to consult with eye doctor for more details.
