The capital of Spain Madrid can also be called the capital of tourism. This is one of the largely populated cities of Spain. Being the capital of the country, undoubtedly it has large number of visitors from various parts of the world. At the same time it is one of the most industrialized towns. There is a saying that if you want to visit Madrid and know more about it, about the places of historic importance, the parks, museums, etc., then go round the city on foot. This is because almost every other street has something interesting and something worth seeing. Perhaps no other place in Europe has so much to offer to a tourist as Madrid. So if you go by a car, it is likely that you will miss some of the places of interest.

Being the capital city, there is a general feeling that boarding and lodging is expensive. But the reality is that it is not. Apart from this there are many parks, the most popular park being Capricho Park. Casa de Campo Lake is another place of interest which is lovingly visited by many visitors. The indoor garden near the city railway station attracts many visitors throughout the year.
