I'm actually not surprised that these plans have been so well-liked - they've kept lots of hobbyists from having to throw away initial projects, and prevented many from giving up in frustration. You can't continue to use the same reasons for not making that streamlined kitchen island (or compost bin, or bedroom set) - here's the hand you've been waiting for, ready when you are. I'm not saying you'll immediately be ready to honestly and confidently call yourself an expert craftsman, but remember that "rome wasn't built in a day"; you can take pride in your handmade work. This hobby should seem more accessible to you now; if so, please feel free to pass it on to your friends who could use a helping hand.
