I surfed the net to identify some great tips and found lots and lots of piano lesson programs, but it was time consuming to determine which were best. Lastly, you'll need to learn how to play scales and chords, and understand them. This will increase your accuracy of the notes and speed very greatly.

How are you going to learn as much as possible without wasting time? In order to learn how to play right, you'll need lessons. So about that training. You can either hire a tutor, do it alone and try to learn on your own, take a class, or you can pick up a program online that teaches you using DVD's and online computer training.
