Play in the Snow Inside this Life Size Human Snow Globe
I went to the mall to do some pre-holiday shopping a while back and as usual they had transformed part of it into a beautiful white winter wonderland. There was a long line for something but I realized that it wasn't actually for Santa this time. There was a giant snow globe that people were playing in! It's about 15 feet tall, and groups of people were going inside to play in the snow they were throwing it at each other and up in the air and dancing in it while it gently floated down. It was pretty magical to see and it really put everyone in a holiday mood. The SnowGlobe Live is a life sized giant human snow globe that you can play in and have your picture taken. When you come out you can get a print out of the picture and take it with you. I was pretty curious about it so I spoke to the people working there. I discovered that a lot of people like to use this photo as their holiday photo for Christmas cards. Sometimes corporations rent the snow globe for a corporate event. Apparently, cities rent them in convention centers for corporate sponsored events for local citizens.
I had to try it for myself, despite the long line. The line moved quickly and I scarfed down some pretzel bites while snapping some pictures on my camera phone, which I'd share but my phone's camera is pretty terrible. You can see pictures of the snow globe live here. Entering this large size artificial ice spectacle is a lifetime experience. The Life size snow globe is gaining increased popularity in the United States as a winter holiday novelty and I could see why. The giant snow globe has appeal both for kids of course but grownups really seemed to love it and enjoy a unique photo taking opportunity. When waiting to be PHOTOGRAPHED with the artificial ice human globe, you won't notice how long you stood there. It's an entirely different world among the tinsel, piped carols, and Christmas cards. If you happen to see this human snow globe, you will see a huge crowd; some will be fighting to come toward the front for getting a clear vision. Seeing the crowd, you'll get an idea of its popularity.
