This is a big one, for obvious reasons. At home, you might take off your earrings while absentmindedly watching TV, set them on the table by the couch and forget about them for a week. If you do that while on a vacation trip, you're not likely to ever see those earrings again. If you do, it will be in an envelope, having been mailed to you by the staff. If it's just a cheap piece of costume jewelry, it's not a big deal. If it's your wedding ring, it could be a major tragedy. Clothes

People often struggle with their clothing situation while on vacation. At home, you have your routine. You pull your clothes out of a drawer or off the hangar.
