Portland investment firm to preside over 401k plans of grocery chain

The wealth management firm of Tim Phillips, Oregon businessman has contracted with

Portland-based Signature Northwest, a retail grocery chain that includes Thriftway grocery stores, to improve employee participation and reduce the company's 401k costs.
