Prepaid Legal - How They Helped Me Get a Free T.V
Prepaid Legal - How They Helped Me Get a Free T.V
I have had so many little and big incidents that have happened to me over my lifetime that I wish I could have just picked up the phone to call an attorney for advice or write a letter in my behalf.
But, what stopped me?
Like most us I had to ask myself who I would call. Do I look in the yellow pages for the biggest ad? Secondly, how does the legal system work and is my issue even warrant calling an attorney? And finally how much will it cost me?
These are the main reasons 80% of the population has to check their wallets before they check their rights.
Here is my personal story, which showed me the importance of having a team of lawyers on my side. You may relate to if you have ever been told to "go pound sand" when you call Customer Service.
I bought a 56" Samsung TV with a 2 year extended warranty. A month before the warranty expired my TV went out. They came to my house and fixed it, but 2 months later it went out again. Except by now, my warranty has expired.
They agreed to do one more courtesy repair, but it did the same thing again in 2 months. I did have to pay for the third repair, which I did not want to - but they said I had no other alternative.
Lo and behold, in 3 weeks it was out again.
I had enough and called Parker Stansbury - the Law Firm in California for Pre-Paid Legal. They wrote one letter in my behalf to the warranty company and I received a call from them within days of them receiving the letter.
Their Senior Client Response Associate was very pleasant, so different than their Customer Service. After the call she called me back to let me know they were going to send me $999.00 to replace my TV and the amount I spent on repairs.
Now how many of you would have considered that a legal issue? Most of us wouldn't because of all the 3 reasons I stated at the beginning.
But thanks to the lawyers at Pre-paid legal I was able to resolve a frustrating issue with really great results.
Pre-Paid Legal has taken away the intimidation factor, guesswork of selecting a quality attorney - and the fear of paying an overwhelming legal bill. And unlike insurance, your premium never goes up as long as you have the plan. This is so different than your other insurance plans.
Therefore, you can either pay an attorney $200 an hour for your legal needs, or pay $300 a year for an attorney that is just as good or better.
As for me, I look at my new T.V., and I am so glad I chose the latter.
